School Building
Building of the school is a fascinating Two storey building. All rooms are big, spacious and well ventilated.The classrooms are fitted with CCTVs for closely monitoring the teaching/ learning process. Utmost care has been taken for the safety of students in the way school has been designed. The school from within has been divided into two blocks Junior and senior which are interconnected. The beautiful Nursery Wing building with its welcome appeal is a feast for the eyes.The aesthetically and beautifully built colourful building not only attracts the eyes of the tiny tots but also provides a homely and fun-filled learning atmosphere.The Nursery Wing has a separate playground, swings area, splash pool, toy room and above all large spacious beautiful classrooms.The building has a big hall which serves as the assembly area and also doubles up as a playing area in adverse weather conditions.

LIBRARY
Police Modern School Library is the favourite haunt of all the teachers and the students.It is a library cum reading room. Some books are meant to be read, some to be chewed, some to be digested,catches your attention as you enter to the school library, kind of sending message that you have entered an important zone, where reading is the mantra, which shall open the door of knowledge and wisdom. There are thousands of books on different subjects available in library.Reference books- General books , Hindi story/Novel, English story/Novel, Biography, Dictionary, Encyclopedia, Activity, Poem, Essay, Competitive Books, Tourism Subject/ Course books- English ,Maths , Science, Social Studies, General Knowledge, Computer, Sanskrit, Art, Map, Evs, Conversation, Listening and Speaking, Moral science Other tools-Cd’s, Chart, Magazines, Newspapers Internet facility How to use library? Through library periods- Students come to library in their library period. They read different kind of books here .
OUR COMPUTER LAB
The school houses fully equipped state-of-the art Computer labs- for junior and primary wing where the complete strength of the classes can be catered at one go. The students have free access to the systems and are encouraged to explore the system resources with the support of highly experienced and talented computer teachers.
SCIENCE LAB
Physics ‘Learning by doing’. This is exactly what is followed at all the labs at PMS. The Physics,Chemistry, Maths and Biology labs are equipped with modern devices and are child friendly.Children get regular exposure to the science lab for the better understanding of the concepts through observation,experimentation and demonstration.
GAMES AND SPORTS
The sprawling play ground is a hallmark of Columbus Public School. CPS believes that children need physical activities as much as they need high academic achievements to ensure synchronous physical, emotional, intellectual and academic growth.Students get opportunity not only to play but excel in various sports such as Basketball, Badminton, Volleyball,Cricket, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Handball etc. Athletics is also given due importance. The school also has a splash pool for the tiny tots where the kids can explore their swimming talent and learn the basics of the sport.
